The Human Resources function is part of the Administration Department of the Village of Homer Glen and operates under the direction of the Village Manager. The department oversees all phases of human resource management including:
- Policy development and interpretation
- Benefits administration and total compensation programs
- Compliance
- Workers' compensation and risk management
- Employee and labor relations
- Recruitment, selection and orientation
