Mark your calendars and get ready to "Shop Homer Glen" each weekend at our second annual Homer Glen Farmers Market!
New things are happening at this year's Farmers Market thanks to our market
coordinator, Merrill Marxman, who is making plans to make it bigger and better
than last year. The market will kick off earlier in the season and start
earlier in the day.
The new "Spring and Summer" Farmers Market held its Grand Opening on
Saturday, May 7, and will continue each Saturday through October 15 from 9
am to 1 pm at the same location, Sears Essentials parking lot, 15833 S. Bell
Road, Homer Glen.
Make plans to start Saturday mornings off with a cup of gourmet coffee or
tea and some delectable goodies including freshly-made breakfast wraps,
grilled veggies and much more at the new market "Brunch". Then be
ready to shop the market at favorite vendors from last summer and many new
vendors offering an array of spring planting needs, fresh flowers, vegetable
plants, hanging baskets and all of the fresh seasonal produce available
throughout the summer.
Shopping at the local Farmers Market with goods from local farmers and
vendors assures getting the freshest produce and helps establish camaraderie
with local expert growers and vendors. This year's market will be the
place to go for the very best product line offering "quantity, quality and
variety".
