April 5, 2011 Referendum
From
the Village of Homer Glen's Comprehensive Plan:
"Public schools provide top-quality educational services and serve as focal
points for community life and activity ...contributing to the Village€™s overall
image and identity."
The construction of a high school in Homer Glen would encompass more than just improving the image and identity of our Village. A four-year school would also encourage economic and community development attracting businesses and jobs to Homer Glen. Improvements in these areas generally result in property value gains and a wider array of amenities available to the community.
