On Tuesday, January 7, 2003, Joe Mikan, Will County Executive, presented the Village of Homer Glen with its' first EMA vehicle. "We (the Village and Will County) have had a great working relationship, and this is just another example of it," Joe Mikan told the Village Board at a Special Board of Trustees Meeting. "One of our vehicles became surplus and we offered it to Homer Glen." The Village is very grateful for Will County's generosity.
