The Village’s newest park will cover approximately 1.5 acres and will have colorful playground equipment, a gold putting green and a small picnic shelter. The park is anticipated to be built and open to the public by the end of 2013.
The cost for this project is approximately $378,000.00, of which $110,900.00 will be applied from the Open Space and Lands Acquisition and Development Grant (OSLAD), received from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. The remaining balance will be paid from the Village’s Parks and Recreation Fund.

Ordinance No. 12-032 defines the rules and regulations that pertain to activities on the Homer Glen Heroes Trail System and in Stonebridge Park and Kingston Hills Park. The rules and regulations are not meant to stifle enjoyment or use of the Village’s park and trail systems.
