Parks and Recreation Committee Open House
The Village’s Parks and Recreation Master Plan was originally completed in 2007. The Parks and Recreation Committee formed a subcommittee in January of 2012 to update this Plan. The Committee has worked diligently over the past year to revise the Parks and Recreation Master Plan, incorporating events that have occurred since the original document was adopted and eliminating out of date information.
The Parks and Recreation Committee held an Open House to review the updated
Master Plan with the public on February 27, 2013 in the Village Board Room at 14917 S. Founders Crossing in Homer Glen.

Ordinance No. 12-032 defines the rules and regulations that pertain to activities on the Homer Glen Heroes Trail System and in Stonebridge Park and Kingston Hills Park. The rules and regulations are not meant to stifle enjoyment or use of the Village’s park and trail systems. The rules and regulations will help the village to effectively manage the park and trail systems for everyone’s use and enjoyment.
