New Recycling Center Opens
The Village of Homer Glen and Homer Highway Department are ready to accept
electronic recycling items from the residents of the Village and Homer Township. The purpose of the Electronic Recycling Program is to offer the residents of Homer Glen and Homer Township a convenient way to help minimize landfill waste including heavy metals and hazardous components by providing an electronic drop off location. Together with the Homer Township Highway Department and in coordination with Will County Land Use Department, the program has been funded by the current environmental surcharge collected by NuWay Disposal and with the assistance of a grant from Will County, which was used for the site improvements.
*A hold harmless agreement will need to be signed by each person dropping off recyclable goods.
