1. Does the Village have its own Police Department?

No. The Will County Sheriff’s patrol and protect the Village of Homer Glen. The Will County Sheriff’s have an unmanned substation that is connected to the Village Hall. Officers are not there often, it is primarily used for report filings and interviews. If you are in need of police assistance and it is an emergency, dial 9-1-1.
