Come out to Heritage Park (day or night) for bats, spiders, ghosts, and lights! The park will be decorated with all things spooky the month of October.

Scarecrow Walk

Walk along Heritage Circle and View the creative scarecrow displays. Vote for your favorite! Three winners will be chosen.

“Dress Your Pet” Halloween Costume Photo Contest 

Residents of Homer Glen interested in participating in the “Dress Your Pet” photo contest should email ablank@homerglenil.org a photo of your pet in costume - dog, cat, horse, bird, rabbit, pig, reptile, all pets included! Be sure to include your contact information, pet’s name, and details about your pet’s costume for a chance to win! Photos will be posted on the Village Facebook page @villageofhomerglen. The top two pets with the most Facebook likes will win a prize! Deadline to enter is October 21.

Halloween

Trick or Treat hours for the Village are 3 p.m. - 7 p.m. The Village has a "No Trick or Treat" sign that may be posted on the front door if you choose not to participate. Residents may pick up a copy at Village Hall or download the sign.
