Yes, the open space and biking trails within Heritage Park are open. The Active Core, the fitness and play hub in the center of the park, is currently under construction. Please check the Village Website for construction updates.

No, at this time the Village does not rent out parks or pavilions for private events. Please call Homer Township to schedule a rental of their facilities at 708-301-0522.

At this time, there is no timeline for the construction of a splash pad or water feature. The remaining stages of the development of Heritage Park are still in the early stages. The Heritage Park Concept Plan, completed in 2016, does include the concept of a splash pad and it will be considered as an option as the park continues to develop.
