VOTER INFORMATION GUIDE FOR GENERAL PRIMARY TO HIT MAILBOXES SOON
JOLIET – Will County Clerk Lauren Staley Ferry is pleased to announce she is breaking new ground with the Voter Information Guide that will arrive at households in the coming days by including a side-by-side Spanish-language translation for voting information.
Households with at least one registered voter will receive in the mail a single Voter Information Guide that includes information in both English and Spanish. The guide explains options for casting ballots in the June 28 General Primary Election as well as how citizens may register to vote.
This guide includes:
- Customized sample ballots that show voters exactly who is on each ballot so they may research candidates and referendums.
- Information about how to request a Vote By Mail Ballot.
- The nearest Early Voting locations with dates and times for voting.
- The location of their Election Day Polling Place.

Early & Grace Period Voting Hours for the June 28, 2022 General Primary Election
Last day of grace period registration and voting in the office of the election authority or at locations designated for this purpose by the election authority. Please contact the election authority to determine the availability of grace period registration and voting in the polling place on Election Day. (10 ILCS 5/4-50, 5-50, 6-100)
Voters also may visit the Will County Clerk’s website at thewillcountyclerk.com to view a sample ballot, request a Vote By Mail Ballot, find nearby Early Voting locations, or to learn about other election-related information.
Early Voting will take place at Homer Township located at 14350 W. 151st Street Homer Glen, IL 60491
Early Voting Hours:
- June 13 thru June 17, 2022 Monday thru Friday 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM
- June 20 thru June 24, 2022 Monday thru Friday 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM
Voter Registration
- Voter registration is open throughout the year except during the 27 days preceding an election.
- Registration reopens the 2nd day following an election.
- Voter registration can be completed online
- Mail in forms for voter registration application may downloaded at the Will County Clerk’s voter registration webpage.
