CASBER

Citizens Against Speeding by Enforcing Radar

The Sheriff's Office takes an aggressive stance on traffic violators, specifically speeding. The Office has initiated a proactive program in which citizens can assist in monitoring these violations. The program, named "CASBER" (Citizens Against Speeding by Enforcing Radar) is open to any Homer Glen resident, 18 years of age or older. Radar units are available for citizens to use. Training is provided and the volunteer is asked to complete a short log, listing dates and times used as well as any offending vehicle information. Call the Homer Glen Sub-Station for further information at 708-645-2512.
