Formal Zoning Cases typically require approval above and beyond administrative authority of the Village Staff. These cases include the review and consideration of Site Plans, Special Use Permits, Planned Developments, Plats, and Variances.
Cases typically go before the Plan Commission to be presented at a Public Hearing or a Public meeting. The Plan Commission reviews and deliberates on the zoning requests and makes recommendations to the Village Board. Additionally, the Plan Commission serves as the Zoning Board of Appeals.
