The Village of Homer Glen Plan Commission is an advisory commission to the Homer Glen Village Board. The Plan Commission consists of seven members appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Village Board. All members of the Plan Commission are Homer Glen residents who volunteer their time without compensation and come from a variety of backgrounds.
The function of the Plan Commission is to provide advice and recommendations to the Board of Trustees regarding zoning variances, special uses, planned unit developments, subdivisions, zoning code text amendments, zoning map amendments and sign variances.
The Village is currently seeking letters of interest for a vacancy on the Plan Commission. Residents interested in serving on the Plan Commission must submit a letter of interest, along with a resume, addressed to Mayor George Yukich, Village of Homer Glen, 14240 W. 151st Street, Homer Glen, IL 60491 or email village@homerglenil.org.
