The weather does not appear to be good for stargazing. The prediction is 94% cloud cover with a 34% chance of rain at 8:00 PM. Representatives from the Southwest Astronomy Observers Group and Kankakee Area StarGazers will be on site at the Trantina Farm (15744 W. 151st Street). However, they will not have the larger telescopes. They will have small equipment and copies of the April Sky Map.
