In anticipation of the future travel demands on 143rd Street, Will County initiated a Preliminary Engineering Study for 143rd Street, between Lemont Road and Bell Road. On March 7, 2018, a Public Information Meeting was held at Hadley Middle School. The information below includes the documents that were on display at the meeting as well as a presentation video. Please note that the deadline for submitting comments is March 21, 2018.
Proposed 143rd Street Improvements - Lemont Road (State Street) to Bell Road - a continuous four lane roadway section with a mountable median, curb and gutter, and storm sewers to be constructed to match the adjacent sections of 143rd Street at Lemont Road (westernmost limits, completed in 2014) ad at Bell Road (easternmost limits, construction begins 2018).
