Sheriff's Office Assisting Homer Glen, Silver Cross Hospital.
The Will County Sheriff's Office is on location today, May 9, at Silver Cross Hospital, 12701 W. 143rd Street in Homer Glen to assist their staff with an Active Shooter Drill.
The drill began at 7:00 a.m. and will run for the next few hours.
We are advising the public not to be alarmed as several emergency vehicles will be in the area of the hospital.
