At the December 13 Village Board meeting, the Board approved significant amendments to Chapter 75, Buildings, of the Code of the Village of Homer Glen for the first time since 2007. These revisions are intended to allow the Village to continue to provide a high level of safety in the built environment while also improving our level of service. The Village held various meetings with contractors and conducted a survey of other communities as to how they address certain issues. The updated portions of the Village Code will be posted on our website under Village Code within the next few weeks.
