The Village of Homer Glen has a contract with Clarke Mosquito Control for abatement services. This contract allows for the treatment of mosquito breeding sites (i.e. drainage ditches, swamps and areas of low or standing water) and for adult mosquito control sprayings throughout the Village.
Each adult mosquito control spraying involves community wide truck Ultra-Low-Volume cold aerosol misting treatments used to reduce the mosquito population in residential areas. The adult mosquito control spraying covers all streets within the community.
Clarke Mosquito's trucks are scheduled to spray Anvil 2 + 2 adultcide treatment throughout the community on Wednesday, August 19th, weather permitting.
Clarke will use Natular granules for the helicopter prehatch applications scheduled to occur on August 20th, weather permitting. Natular is the most environmentally friendly larvacide available for use today.
