On December 21, 2023, at the regularly scheduled Will County Board meeting, Board members unanimously passed resolution 23-412, approving the Transfer of Jurisdiction of Parker Road/Chicago-Bloomington Trail/Hadley Road (CH 1) to the Village of Homer Glen by the County Under the Illinois Highway Code, County Board District #4.
Village staff will work with Will County DOT to finalize all necessary paperwork with IDOT for the formal transfer of jurisdiction of the Roadway.
