No permit is required by the Village for garage sales.
Sign Ordinance
The Village Sign Ordinance (Section 10.6) (PDF) includes the following pertinent requirements:
- No signage can be posted on stop signs or stop lights.
- All signs must be down the day after the sale.
- No sales or display activity should be located on a public right-of-way.
- No sales or display activity should block the visibility of pedestrians or vehicles.
